Episode 10: The Feeling of Winter

Another day at school. When Ai arrives and opens her shoe boxes, letters begins to fall out. "Cool!", says Miyuki, "after all, you are the new Miss Uzuki Gakuen". However, when Ai mentions Tsuyoshi, Miyuki changes her face expression.

In the music classroom, Haruhiko is still trying to make some moves on Miko. But Miko still does not "get" what Haruhiko is trying to say. Haruhiko puts his hand on the board, and keeps trying to do his "moves" on Miko. However, Miko still does not understand Haruhiko. This begins to exasperate him, and asks Miko if she likes somebody. Miko replies Tsuyoshi. Haruhiko begins to make a speach, but Miko has sneaked of the classroom.

When Tsuyoshi is leaving the school, Haruhiko is waiting for him. Tsuyoshi, however, does not want to talk with him, and says farewell as he leaves. Haruhiko stops him when Tsuyoshi walks by him. "Hey, I want to speak with you" shouts Haruhiko. Tsuyoshi turns back and asks what it is about. Haruhiko tells Tsuyoshi is about the girls and so, but Tsuyoshi does not want to hear about Haruhiko. So, while Haruhiko is talking Tsuyoshi walks away. Haruhiko has no idea that he already left and keeps talking, until he hear some giggles from some students who were walking by. Haruhiko curses Tsuyoshi for leaving him there speaking alone.

At the school grounds, Miyuki begins practicing. When she is set to make a 100m dash run, she loses concentration for a moment when she thinks of Tsuyoshi. She tries to clear her mind, and begins running. But, when Tsuyoshi, who was walking nearby, calls her name, she stumbles and falls, bruising her knee. Several students quickly checks her, but it is Tsuyoshi who asks her if she is fine. Although Miyuki says it is nothing, Tsuyoshi carries Miyuki on his arms (Miyuki is complaining all the way). Haruhiko, who was looking nearby, curses Tsuyoshi who, already having somebody fond of him, is looking for underclassmates too. "I will have mi revenge!"

At the nursery, there is nobody there, so Tsuyoshi looks for the first aid kit himself. When Tsuyoshi helps Miyuki, she blushes... Tsuyoshi finishes by placing a big band-aid on her knee, but Miyuki insists that she will be fine. Miyuki stands up, but stumbles, and falls to Tsuyoshi arms, just as Ai was walking into the room. Ai is shocked to find Miyuki with Tsuyoshi and runs away. Miyuki follows Ai, telling her it is a misunderstanding. Tsuyoshi, just says, "oh, well", as he leaves. And Haruhiko, hidden in a cabinet, heard everything...

Miyuki (in her school uniform) is still looking for Ai, but Ai is on other part of the city walking home, thinking on what she just saw. Meanwhile, Tsuyoshi has decided to go home, too. He walks by Kamiyama temple and decides to see Miko. He finds Miko kneeled nearby some dry leaves that she was burning. Tsuyoshi walks nearby, and calls her, but no response. Miko was asleep! He walks closer, and calls her name again. However, it scares her, and falls to the ground. "Miko-chan, it is me, Tsuyoshi".

Tsuyoshi helps Miko stand up, but she says "Good Morning". Tsuyoshi tells it is not morning, but late afternoon. Miko gives out a surprised expression as if she forgot something, but then remembers it was the leaves she was burning. They keep talking and ends up Tsuyoshi agreeing with Miko to visit the amusement park. When Tsuyoshi is about to leave, he hear the voice of Miko's father. Miko's father confronts Tsuyoshi on why he is doing there, but Miko clear things up. As Tsuyoshi leaves, Miko's father say Tsuyoshi isn't a bad guy, after all.

On the weekend, Miko is waiting for Tsuyoshi near the train station. When Tsuyoshi arrives, and walks away with Tsuyoshi, Miyuki notices the two of them. "They are..."

Eyecatch time!

At the amusement park, Miko and Tsuyoshi are enjoying various attractions. When they get to the ferris wheel, Miko is impressed with the view. "Is this your first time?" asks Tsuyoshi. Miko says yes, and she mentions that her father is somewhat overprotective. Just then, the cabin where they are shakes a bit (a quake?), which causes Miko to fall near Tsuyoshi, who catches her at the end. Miko looks closely at Tsuyoshi (so does Tsuyoshi to Miko)... But nothing happens. [Note: there is a similar scene in the OVAs.]

They are still at the amusement park, taking some photos. Miko kissing a huge rabbit, Miko having some ice cream cone, Tsuyoshi after having an accident with the bumper cars. At the horror house, Tsuyoshi daydreams that, if Miko gets scared, she will quickly embrace him. However, when a "zombie" pops out, it is Tsuyoshi who is scared. Miko, on the other hand, smiles and bows to the "zombie". At the end, Tsuyoshi takes a photo of Miko hugging the "zombie". ^_^

At the school, Miyuki is practicing and stops to take a break. She is still thinking about Tsuyoshi, as she looks at the bandage on her knee. Haruhiko calls for Miyuki, then. He asks Miyuki if she is friend of Miss Uzuki Gakuen. Miyuki replies that her name is Ai. Haruhiko, again, asks about her relationship with Tsuyoshi. Miyuki denies any relationship, but as she says that, she wonders to herself what she is saying. (Just at this moment, a dry leaf falls to the ground). Haruhiko, with a grinning face, knows he asked something that hurted Miyuki. Haruhiko tells Miyuki that it must be between Ai and Tsuyoshi; and thanks Miyuki for what she answered.

Back at the park, Miko and Tsuyoshi is taking a break. Miko mentions that she loves Tsuyoshi, which causes a reaction of the customer next to them, as she mentions it so openly. But, then, Miko adds, that she loves Mizuho, too. (Miko loves everybody! Such a sweet girl!)

It is late afternoon, already. Miyuki is standing at a bridge, thinking herself of Tsuyoshi. "She must love that girl", says Miyuki to herself, "but, must I tell it to Ai?". Right, then, Ai is walking to the bridge. They walk to a nearby to talk. Ai tells Miyuki that Miyuki might be in love with Tsuyoshi, but Miyuki denies it. Ai is relieved to hear that from her friend. However, Miyuki's expression shows she is hiding something.

Miko and Tsuyoshi is walking back from the amusement park, and when they run into Miyuki and Ai. Ai quickly asks if Miko likes Tsuyoshi, which Miko says she does. Ai is slightly shocked, but Miko continues saying she likes them, too. Both, Miyuki and Ai, are slightly confused, so Tsuyoshi explains them that they are friends, and that Miko loves everybody. Miyuki asks Tsuyoshi if he is in love with Miko, but Tsuyoshi says no.

Miyuki apologizes them, saying she has to leave, and runs away. They keep talking, but Tsuyoshi suddenly remembers that he should have already taken Miko home. He asks Miko what might his father be doing now, which Miko says he should be waiting at the temple entrance with his naginata! (flash to Kamiyama temple, with Miko's father waiting them with a naginata). Tsuyoshi asks Ai if she can doing a big favour: accompany Miko to the temple, as he is not willing to face Miko father's wrath, and there should be nothing wrong that Ai is with Miko. Ai accepts as it is Tsuyoshi who is asking her to, and if Tsuyoshi promises to take her on a date.

At the park, Miyuki is walking alone. She is still thinking about Tsuyoshi, when she stops and looks at the sky...
