Episode 8: A Capricious Autumn Cherry Tree

It is school time again. Tsuyoshi, in his way to school, is jumping over small ponds of water that the last rain has left. At the same time, a car is splashing the water that was left on the road... Tsuyoshi notices Ai is on her way to school, too, and calls her. They stop speaking for a moment, when they hear a playing it's horn. When Tsuyoshi notices the car, he rushes in front of Ai, as the car splash the water on the road... all over Tsuyoshi.

What a way to begin a new semester! He runs to the car that just stopped in front of the school gate, arguing whoever is seating at the back. When the car's window goes down it show the passenger is Ryoko. Tsuyoshi, in a really angry mood, tells her what her driver just did, and tells her to get out of the car to solve it. She, emotionless, tell Sagaoka (the chauffer) to open her. Sagaoka apologizes and opens the door for Reiko. At first, she tells Sagaoka to pay Tsuyoshi for his uniform, but Tsuyoshi is not happy at the way Reiko is trying to solve it. Reiko orders Sagaoka to give his wallet (with the money, of course), but Tsuyoshi refuses again. Reiko, then, just tells Sagaoka to solve the rest, as she leaves. Ai, then, walks to Tsuyoshi asking who was her. Tsuyoshi just only answers she is a classmate.

At class, a new term means new seats, and to be fair to everyone, each one has to pick a piece of paper with a number... (ED: No, this is not To Heart!) Minoru is near the front row, and he is not happy with his seat. He looks around to check where Tsuyoshi will be seating, and finds him, seating at the last seat of the last row. (Tsuyoshi changed into his PE uniform). At first, he curses Tsuyoshi for being so lucky and having the last seat. However, he laughs when the person who will be seating next to Tsuyoshi is... Reiko!

Tsuyoshi is not happy that Reiko is seating besides him. They begin to argue, but they are interrupted by Shizuka-sensei, as classes will begin. Just when Shizuka-sensei thinks she can start, Sagaoka enters the classroom with a box. He apologizes for the intrusion and walks to Tsuyoshi's seat. "Please", as he gives Tsuyoshi the box. When he opens it, there is a new uniform. Reiko says it was made by Haruhiko's tailor, and Haruhiko comments Reiko has a good taste for choosing his tailor. But Tsuyoshi protests about the new uniform, but to no avail, as Sagaoka takes his old uniform away. All the time, Shizuka-sensei was speechless of what was going on. As soon as she snaps back, she orders them to be quiet. "Sorry for interrupting", is the only thing that says Sagaoka as he leaves. Finally, being able to keep order in her own class, Shizuka-sensei tells Reiko and Tsuyoshi that, for disrupting her class, they are in charge of the duties that day. Tsuyoshi isn't happy at all!

They are at the library looking for some books. Reiko asks Tsuyoshi why to make so much fuss over Sagaoka. Tsuyoshis says he does not agree the way he deals Sagaoka, but they are interrupted by Minoru who seems to be leaving (Minoru thanks Reiko, so I think Minoru switch uniforms with Tsuyoshi). Reiko climbs to a library stair, saying to herself as to why she should treat Sagaoka in a different way. However, the stair moves away, leaving Reiko, "hanging" on the stairs in a compromising situation. At first, she orders Tsuyoshi to put the stair back, but Tsuyoshi sees the chance to teach her a lesson. He refuses to help Reiko. The stair keeps moving away, and Reiko again orders him to put back the stairs. Tsuyoshi refuses again. Just when Tsuyoshi says he will leave her like that, Reiko finally says "please". Too late, as Reiko can't hold more and falls. Fortunately for her, Tsuyoshi turns and catches her.

Reiko looks Tsuyoshi to his eyes... to notice when Tsuyoshi caught her, his hand were holding her breast. "Hentai" shouts Reiko, as she moves away. Reiko just walks a bit away from Tsuyoshi, as if nothing had happened. Tsuyoshi starts picking the books that felt down and, angry, scolds Reiko as she should be thankful that he helped her. She does not thank him, and just says that it was what he should have done. Tsuyoshi takes all the books he picked from the floor and "throws" it to her hands, telling Reiko to suit herself. Tsuyoshi decides to walk away, without saying another word. Reiko is shocked as it was the first time she was not treated as an "ojousama" she was get used to.

Eyecatch time!

Tsuyoshi is walking with Miyuki and Ai. Tsuyoshi told them about the incident, just as Miyuki notices a car passing by being Reiko's. They are at Dogeza Cafe, having some dessert. When Miyuki is finishing hers, Master brings her another dessert. Next day at school, Reiko begins to check on Tsuyoshi from afar, when he is laughing with Miyuki and Ai, when he is joking with Minoru (by the way, in this scene, Tsuyoshi notices that Reiko is looking at him). At her home (can I say mansion?), Reiko, blushing, recalls when Tsuyoshi caught her, when Tsuyoshi was laughing. She says to herself why she is thinking about Tsuyoshi.

Next day at class, Shizuka-sensei is giving lecture, when she calls Tsuyoshi. However, Tsuyoshi is lost on his thoughts and is caught totally caught of guard. During recess, Minoru wonders what would have happened to Reiko. They ask Haruhiko, but he only laughs back.

When classes end, Tsuyoshi leaves school, only to find Sagaoka being waiting for him. Sagaoka tells Reiko has a cold, and that she wants him to visit her. At first, Tsuyoshi is reluctant, but when Sagaoka says "please", he gives up. When driving on the way to Reiko's mansion, Sagaoka asks Tsuyoshi to please do as Reiko as. When they arrive, they go directly to the pool. Pool, wonders Tsuyoshi.

Reiko didn't have a cold at all; she was just swimming at the pool. (Reiko is wearing a black bikini). When Tsuyoshi asks if she was sick, but Reiko just laughs back, as she wanted him to go there. Tsuyoshi does not like that, and decides to leave, only to find Sagaoka standing behind him. "Tsuyoshi-san, onegaishimasu", says Sagaoka. Tsuyoshi says he will stay, then. What do you want, then, Reiko, wonders Tsuyoshi. She has she wants Tsuyoshi to look for her, but Tsuyoshi is beginning to get angry at her. Reiko just laughs back, and tells to massage her with oil.

Tsuyoshi, now, definetely does not like the idea, but Sagaoka takes out a bottle of oil, and tells Tsuyoshi "please". Tsuyoshi don't want to humilliate himself doing it, but when Sagaoka says "please" again, he agrees too. [ED: It is interesting that all the time Sagaoka is shown with black glasses. Here, we have a look of his eyes; Sagaoka is giving Tsuyoshi a menaching look, but a humble one instead]. Tsuyoshi massages Reiko's legs, but when he reaches Reiko's back, at first, she reacts to it. Tsuyoshi wonders if he did something, just to find Reiko loosening a bit her bikini. It shocks a bit both Sagaoka and Tsuyoshi.

When Tsuyoshi continues rubbing oil on her, Reiko begins to daydream. She daydreams she and Tsuyoshi are playing at the beach, running, and having fun. At the end, Tsuyoshi puts a red orchid between her breast. By then, Tsuyoshi comments she can be a cute girl, too. This snaps Reiko back to reality. She does not like the comment Tsuyoshi made, so she pushes Tsuyoshi to the pool. Sagaoka is stunned on what Reiko just did, and dives to the pool to help Tsuyoshi.

Next day at school, Shizuka-sensei is giving her lecture, when Minoru asks if she knows what happened to Tsuyoshi. Shizuka-sensei says he caught a cold. Then, Reiko looks to Tsuyoshi's seat with a worried face... That night, at Tsuyoshi's apartment, he is resting in his bed, when somebody knocks his door. It is Sagaoka with a chef. Sagaoka tells Tsuyoshi that Shindou ordered them to check on him. "Shindou? Reiko?" asks Tsuyoshi. Sagaoka agrees, and tells the chef to begin. Outside Tsuyoshi's apartment, Reiko in her car is giving a worried look to Tsuyoshi's apartment.

When Reiko car leaves, Tsuyoshi is having dinner and says to himself that Reiko can be cute girl, too.
