Episode 1: The Mischief of a Spring Breeze

A girl is watching a tree, while sakura petals is falling to the ground... (OK, her name is Ai)

Tsuyoshi is running to class, while grabbing a pop-tart like breakfast. Then, he is joined by his friend Minoru. Both seems to be late. Tsuyoshi is a bit faster than Minoru, however, he suddenly stops when he notices a girl standing watching a tree. Of course, Minoru will not stop to check why Tsuyoshi stopped.

Tsuyoshi calls for the girl, telling her she will be late for class. This startles Ai, and makes her blush. She tells him, "but..." There is a kitten on the tree. Tsuyoshi decides to take the kitten down, so that both can go to school. But the kitten does not seem to agree and scratches Tsuyoshi's hand. This does not stop Tsuyoshi to bring the kitten down.

Once down, Ai thanks Tsuyoshi: "arigato gozaimasu, Yamaguchi senpai." Yamaguchi? "How did you know my surname", asks Tsuyoshi. This makes Ai to blush again. Guessing that the girl won't say anything, Tsuyoshi take his bag. Ai, then, notices the scratch. "It is nothing", says Tsuyoshi, but Ai insists. She takes a handkerchief of hers and wrap Tsuyoshi's hand with it. Suddenly, Tsuyoshi remembers they are late for school!

On their way out of the park, a car stops. It is Minatsu. She offers to give them a ride. Meanwhile, Minoru is halfway when he notices Minatsu's car. But wait, somebody is with her. It is Tsuyoshi. How dare he to be with MY Minatsu!

Once in school, Tsuyoshi greets Miko and Mizuho. Mizuho mentions about today's weather, but notices Tsuyoshi's hand, or specifically, the handkerchief. Well, Tsuyoshi won't deny that is a girl's handkerchief. But Miko has some handkerchief, too! Needless to say, or embarrased, Tsuyoshi, decides to go ahead to his homeroom. New school year, means new classmates, and... New girls! Are all cute, but wait, there is Reiko! Argh! Finally, Minoru arrives to the homeroom, and what's the first thing to check? Of course, the girls, too! But Reiko decides to make Minoru's life miserable right from the beginning. They finally meet their homeroom professor, Shizuka-sensei.

Later that day, Ai is looking for somebody... When she finds him, somebody calls for her. It is her friend Miyuki, who was sort-of following what Ai was doing. So Ai was looking for Tsuyoshi! During their conversation, somebody touches Ai's shoulder, startling her. He present himself as Satake Haruhiko. When he tries to do his moves on Ai, it scares her, and runs off. Well, since that girl ran off, there is still another girl, thinks Haruhiko. However, Miyuki sneaks off, leaving Haruhiko speaking alone.

On the school grounds, Miyuki chats with Ai. Was there any particular reason why she was looking for an upperclassman? Could it be that... Only mentioning it makes Ai blush like a red tomato! Meanwhile, back to 3-C (Tsuyoshi's homeroom), Tsuyoshi is ready to leave, only to find something to drop from his desk. What could it be? "That's a love letter", says Shinji as he pops out. Hey, you, better go to a more quiet place to read those! While Tsuyoshi leaving the room, we see a grinning Minoru...

Eyecatch time!

On the school roof, Tsuyoshi reads the letter. Hmmm.... Who could have written the letter? Is it Mizuho? No, it can't be! Could it be Mayumi, the party girl? No, it can't be her, either! Could it be... Reiko??? Nah, it can't be her! But, while a bit lost on his thoughts, a sneaky Minoru grabs the letter. Wah! A love letter! Before letting Minoru "read" it, Tsuyoshi tries to take it back. During the "fight", a breeze blows the letter away.

Well, before anything else happens, they decides to look for the letter. However, Ai finds the letter first, and reads it. When Tsuyoshi and Minoru gets there, Tsuyoshi remembers her as the girl from the morning. Who is she, wonders Minoru, as he takes his black book out and finds the girl is Minamisato Ai, an underclassmate. Before Tsuyoshi lets Minoru spill out they are looking for a love letter, Tsuyoshi grabs him out. "She is a freshmen!", Tsuyoshi tells Minoru

Ai is not sure of what to do. She decides to go to Tsuyoshi's homeroom to give hime back the letter, but nobody is there. A voice asks what she is doing there. This scares Ai! It is Miko, saying she "understands" why Ai there. But before Miko begins a long speach, Ai sneaks away... What should I do, wonders Ai. Then, decides to speak with her friend Miyuki. At first, she is reluctant, but when Miyuki begins to tickle Ai, she quickly gives up and gives the letter to Miyuki.

After reading it, Miyuki tells Ai, this could be her chance. Ai decides to go to the park where Tsuyoshi was supposed to meet the girl who wrote the letter. Meanwhile, at Dogeza Cafe, Tsuyoshi is washing some dishes, while constantly checking the time. It is 4:45 already... Just 15 minutes... Minoru is seating in front of Tsuyoshi grinning constantly at Tsuyoshi. "Got to do somethings", says Tsuyoshi; but "wait", says, then Master. "Don't worry, Minoru will cover me", responds Tsuyoshi, as he throw the apron to Minoru. This left Minatsu and Dogeza Master dumbfounded, and Minoru laughing.

It is time, 5 o'clock... Tsuyoshi arrives at time to the park, but no girl is to be seen... He decides to wait. It is 5:25, and still no girl has showned up. What Tsuyoshi does not know is that Ai has been hiding behind a tree all the time. The kitten that Tsuyoshi "rescued" earlier the morning gives out Ai. Ai can't face him now, and decides to run; but stops when Tsuyoshi calls her name. Tsuyoshi didn't think it was Ai... Ai gives gives back the letter she found earlier, but decides to run away, saying it wasn't hers. This leaves Tsuyoshi puzzled...

It is night already. Tsuyoshi is back to his appartment, wondering about Ai. "She is a freshmen", whispers Tsuyoshi... At Ai's house, she is taking a shower. After finishing taking her shower, she thinks about Tsuyoshi... Back to Tsuyoshi's apartment, Minoru visits Tsuyoshi. "Hey, how was your date?" asks Minoru. "Well, I met a cute girl there, and her is the proof", answers back Tsuyoshi while showing the handkerchief. "But, it can't be... I wrote..." begins to spill Minoru. Tsuyoshi gives him a funny puzzle face: "Minoru? Do you know something???"

The episode ends as Ai staring the sky...
