OVA 3: Yureru Omoi

Mizuho is taking a shower, when she reflects on what she said to Tooru that afternoon. [flashback on ending of OVA 2]. "Was I too cruel with him?", asks Mizuho to herself. After finishing, she looks under the moon, with a smile, and says she will go to sleep now.

[Intro: Tokimeki no Yukue]

Next morning, Mizuho is brushing her teeth, when Tatsuya enters rushing. "Something terrible happened", says Tatsuya, "Tooru oniichan left!" Mizuho can't believe what she was hearing so she runs down to the entrace, where her mother was standing. "Where is Nagase-kun" asks Mizuho to her mother. "He just left", was her reply. "Are you serious?", asks Mizuho again not believing what her mother said. "He got something to eat, and then left", answers her mother back. Mizuho, then, runs outside the house looking if Tooru was still nearby... "Did he left because of what I said?" says Mizuho to herself. Tooru, meanwhile, was throwing some rocks at a lake on a park. "Let's go, then", says Tooru as he throws another rock."

That afternoon, on Cattleya Flower Shop, Mochida Mahoko is watering some flowers when she notices an undecesive girl standing outside the shop. "Are you looking for any flower?", asks Mahoko to Mizuho. "If you are waiting for Tooru-san, he is about to leave his part time job". Just then, Tooru walks outside Dogeza, which comforts Mizuho as he is doing fine, but when she hears Miko's voice calling Tooru's name, her expression changes. "Miko...", as Mizuho says to herself. When Tooru and Miko begins walking to Mizuho's direction, she quickly asks Mahoko is she can look at some of the flowers. "Dozo!" answers Mahoko. When Tooru and Miko walks pass by the flower shop; with a slightly surprised expression, Mahoko comments if "that girl is Tooru's girlfriend".

Tooru and Miko goes to a date, first to a bowling alley, where Tooru teaches Miko to play. "Do you understand?" asks Tooru after giving Miko the instructions on how to throw the ball. When Miko begins swinging her hand, the ball slips out of her hand and lands on Tooru's face! (Later that day, they visit an aquarium)

Next school day, Miko and Mizuho is standing near the window. Mizuho asks Miko why she is standing there, as if waiting for somebody. Miko tells Mizuho she does; she is looking forward to meet with Tooru that morning. "Is that so", is the only thing that Mizuho manages to speak out. "Tooru-san, Good Morning!" shouts Miko, when Tooru shows up. Tooru greets back, but, gives a sad face when he notices Mizuho beside Miko. Another voice, calls Tooru, then. "Senpai, Good Morning!". It was Ai with Miyuki, who was looking up where Miko was. Miko tells Mizuho that Tooru must be popular among the lower grade students...

Later that day, Haruhiko is talking with Mizuho, suggesting a party by the tennis club. Mizuho is charmed by Haruhiko's comments, so she accepts, and it will take place at Dogeza. Unnoticed to both of them, Minoru and Tooru heard all their conversation, which makes Tooru a bit angry. He pulls Minoru out of sight from Haruhiko and Mizuho, but Minoru's complain (of Tooru pulling him out of sight) attracts Mizuho's attention...

In the afternoon, Tooru is working at Dogeza washing the dishes and talking with Minatsu. Also, Miyuki and Ai are there having some dessert. Miyuki tells Ai that even they are there, they haven't attracted Tooru's attention. However, Ai tells Miyuki she will keep trying as she will not give up to "Kamiyama senpai". It gives no other option to Miyuki than to sigh. Back to Tooru, he and Minatsu are having an interesting chat, but suddenly Ai walks near them. When Ai looks sharply to Minatsu, she is taken a aback... "Do you want something else", Minatsu asks Ai, nervously. Ai looks to Tooru and tells that all for the day and walks away. Miyuki tells Ai to stop, but, instead is stopped by Minatsu who tells her about the tab.

Next day off, Tooru goes with Miko to an amusement park. While taking a break, and having a popsicle, Miko looks to a couple seating on a bench nearby. She asks Tooru while they are embraced like that, which Tooru answers back about the affection the couple has for each other. But Miko is still curious, if Tooru has kissed somebody. Tooru tells her of one person, but Miko quickly cut him asking if he was embarrased, which Tooru says no. "Is that so..."

Next, they go to a ferris wheel, but Tooru notices Miko is a bit strange. Wondering if she is afraid of the height, Miko tells Tooru of the danger of meeting Usagi-san [Note: Might be wrong here. Usagi-san or a rabbit, refers to Japanese folk-tale of a rabbit on the moon]. Suddenly the ferris stops and begins shaking, which causes Miko to panic. Probably of the fear, she quickly hugs Tooru. [Note: A similar scene appears on the TV serie, on Episode 10] Tooru tells Miko everything is fine now, as the quake (or blackout?) has already stopped. But Miko looks Tooru closely... And so does Tooru to Miko... Finally, they have their first kiss.

However, it isn't until late night when the runs back home. Tooru asks if Miko will not get in trouble for being so late, but Miko says it doesn't matter as she is happy being with him. Meanwhile, Ai is talking over a phone, apologizing the other speaker for the trouble. When she closes, she says to herself: "Where could senpai be?" Just then, she watches Miko and Tooru running, while holding each other's hand. "Those were..."

Back to Kamiyama temple, Miko's father scolds Miko for being late. But it does not stop Miko of taking a bath. While doing so, Miko thinks of her kiss with Miko, and snezzes. Next day, because of the "cold", she didn't assist school, and a worried Mizuho visits her. Mizuho asks Miko if she is fine, but Miko tells Mizuho there isn't anything to worry about and thanks her friend for visiting her. Then Miko tells Mizuho how she got the cold, and more importantly, her kiss with Tooru (but Miko is embarrased of talking about it, and covers her face with the sheet while telling it to Mizuho). Mizuho is taken aback of what Miko just told her. However, Miko tells Mizuho that it isn't as what she expected.

That night, Mizuho is lying on her bed thinking on what Miko told her that day, while the phone rings. It is Haruhiko, who asks Mizuho if, next day, she can go to his house to have a game before joining the rest for their party at Dogeza. Mizuho agrees, while she puts away the penguin keychain.

Meanwhile, Tooru is walking home, when a voice calls her. It is Ai, and seeing it as her only chance to confess to Tooru, she does so. However, Tooru tells her that he does not feel the same way, but Ai, anyway asks him how can she prove her love. Tooru is reluctant, but when he notices a sign of a hotel, he quickly grabs her. "Come with me". They go to a love hotel, where Ai is beginning to remove her clothes. Tooru tells Ai to get closer, but Ai is trembling. Tooru stand and walks closer; Ai just can't move. Then, Tooru touches Ai's shoulder and pushes her to the wall, making a vase (with yellow lillies) fall to the ground. Ai can't take it any more and falls to the ground, kneeling. "Sorry, I am sorry... I..." says Ai, almost crying. Tooru kneels in front of her and tells Ai there is nothing to worry about. "I love you, senpai, but..." says Ai, but Tooru stops her. "You don't have to say it", while giving Ai her dress. "You will meet somebody sometime", tells Tooru, "understood?". At the end, Tooru kisses Ai on the forehead...

Next day, Mizuho walks to Satake's house, and begins playing tennis. It starts as a normal game, but after a while, Haruhiko smirks and hits the ball where Mizuho can't hit back. But Mizuho tries anyway and injures her right ankle. This makes Haruhiko "worried" about Mizuho and takes her into the house. Meanwhile, at Dogeza, Tooru arrives, and is scolded by Minatsu and Master for being late while having some many costumers from the tennis club. The first thing Tooru does is look for Mizuho but she isn't there. He asks Nana if she has seen Mizuho, but Nana says Haruhiko and Mizuho hasn't arrived yet. Other member of the club tells there must be something between them, but Nana says it can't be possible. Suddenly, Tooru has a feeling something is wrong. "It can't be..." and runs away.

Back to Satake residence, Mizuho is seating on a couch, while Haruhiko puts a bag of ice on her ankle. Everything seems fine... Until Haruhiko begins touching Mizuho's leg with a madman's face. "Stop it, Satake-kun" shouts Mizuho. But Haruhiko does not stops and tries to kiss Mizuho. Mizuho manages to push Haruhiko away, and tries to walk. Unfortunately, because of the injury on her ankle, she stumbles and falls. "Please, stop it Satake-kun", begs Mizuho, but to no avail. "There is nobody else here, so we will have our own private party!" By then, Tooru has already Satake residence, and climbs the gate. "Stop it, please stop it, Satake-kun", says Mizuho, still on the floor. Haruhiko is on top of her trying to kiss her... But when Tooru hits the door calling Mizuho's name, he is distracted and surprised that somebody is there outside. This gives Mizuho a chance and hits Haruhiko in the groin with her knee (which basically knocks out Haruhiko). Tooru is cursing Haruhiko and keeps calling for Mizuho when the door suddenly opens. It is Mizuho, and falls to Tooru's arms. "Are you OK?", asks Tooru.

Since Mizuho can barely walk, Tooru carries Mizuho on his back. After telling about Haruhiko, Mizuho thanks Tooru for arriving on time... They stop on a park so that Tooru can bandage her ankle. "Done", says Tooru. "Nee, Tooru", says Mizuho, but quickly stops as she has never called him by his name. "Nagase-kun... Do you like Miko?" Without hesitation, Tooru says "of course". Mizuho asks again why, then, he hangs out with other girls. Tooru answers that he does not really know why, is something that happens. Mizuho replies him back that it may hurt the girls feelings doing so; however, Tooru says jokingly she must be jealous of it. But, when Tooru asks Mizuho about Haruhiko, tears begins to flow fom Mizuho's eyes. Tooru apologizes, as he embraces Mizuho. "You are stupid, stupid, stupid" says Mizuho, as she softly hits Tooru. "You don't understand those feelings." Tooru asks Mizuho what's wrong, but Mizuho kisses him.

Mizuho acted as if by reaction, as she herself is surprised for what she did, and walks away tears still falling. Tooru, on the other hand, is totally shocked. He wasn't expecting it, and can't react for a while. When he does, Mizuho is already several meters away. "Mizuho!", but she does not turns around, and keeps walking. That leaves Tooru alone in the park thinking on what just happened.
