Actually, Kakyuusei is the the second OVA series made by Pink Pineapple with this name. As mentioned on the background, this one is based on Elf's game, so it is usually referred to as Elf ban - Kakyuusei. The first OVA serie, Pink Pineapple independent production, is available in the United States as First Loves by ADV.

So, what is the story behind this OVA? In the game, the main female character is Yuuki Mizuho, and in this OVA, follows her story. Or a twist of it, that is. It also features Kamiyama Miko, Minamizato Ai and, to a lesser degree, Iijima Miyuki. Almost all other character appears, but most of them, only as a cameo. Well, it was only 4 OVAs! However, and fortunately, they did justice to some of the rest of the characters in the TV Serie.
